Kayla is a Vestibular Physiotherapist having completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014. Kayla has progressed her formal education through completion of competency-based and advanced courses in the area of Vestibular Physiotherapy and has extensive experience in the management of vestibular conditions across a variety of clinical areas within the hospital setting. She also has a passion for educating other health professionals and students, having presented on vestibular related topics at a local and state-wide level.

Kayla has previously worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in the Emergency Department at Gold Coast University Hospital where she developed her skills in the assessment and management of acute vestibular disorders and contributed to the education programs of doctors and nurses in this clinical area. Prior to this, Kayla worked as a Vestibular Physiotherapist for the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service at Logan Hospital and a Generalist Physiotherapist at Princess Alexandra Hospital where she gained clinical experience treating balance, neurological and vestibular disorders across areas such as the brain injury unit, stroke rehabilitation and musculoskeletal/vestibular outpatient departments.
